Sometimes I'll be sitting at my desk daydreaming, and the thought will pop into my head, "Wouldn't it be so crazy if I just up and moved somewhere?" And then a little while later, I'll be like, "Oh yeah, I did that and I don't live in Utah anymore." That's so weird. I can't believe when I look outside it isn't Utah. It is a completely different state, with millions and millions of people, and tall buildings. I look around and none of the people I see are Utahns. When I drive to work, and the car in front of me has a Massachusetts license plate, I still think, "Wow, a Massachusetts license plate, you don't see that very much." And then it hits me that no, I see that everyday.

And then there are times when I remember that I'm not in Utah. Like today, when someone mentioned, to the astonishment of everyone within earshot, that they were married after a four month engagement. Similar to the reaction I had after being introduced to the concept of the two year engagement.
